Assessment
Assessment takes place as per SAQA quality requirements. In this regard, Infomage has developed an integrated competency measurement system.
This system works on detailed, practical projects that are work specific, in all cases. This ensures that the learning is practical and applicable. All learners are required to assemble a portfolio of evidence that demonstrate competency in outcomes as listed above.
Assessment takes the form of determining competency based on portfolios submitted. These projects are practical implementations of the development programs in the work place. Once theses are assessed the learner output is logged on a an Assessment Sheet which is filed with the National Learner Record Database (NLRD). This “logs” the leaner as competent and earns credits for the programme. Infomage assesses and logs evidence in an instrument that records the RPL status, gap and competency.
