SME Support Programmes
The Services SETA is committed to ensuring the participation of SME’s across all SIC Codes within the Services SETA. All Services SETA levy paying companies can claim their mandatory grants by completing a simple SME Claim Form.
Special-training interventions related to the unique nature of SME’s would be announced later in the year.
Institutes of Occupational Excellence
The ISOE has been established to ensure that standards of excellence are maintained in the delivery of training within the Services Industry. More details with regards to the services on offer to the industry via the ISOE will be announced.
Star Grading System
Creating a culture of continuous learning as well as improved work performance, business systems processes and customer services. 3 Star seeks to recognize companies for the following:
- Star 1: Compliance with Employment Equity Act, Skills Development Act and other legislation directly related to staff.
- Star 2: Systems in place to manage all resources effectively and that these systems are achieving their purposes (ISO Compliance or ISO recognized)
- Star 3: Customer & Client focus, staff competent to be Client-Centric.
3 Star companies become members of Proudly SA, by being subsidized to establish a national marketing campaign.
Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP)
Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) based in the workplace. It recognizes the issues and events in employees’ personal lives, which have a negative effect on their work performance. It helps employees to face and then deal with problems that are affecting their work. The organization thereby saves money and creates an environment that attracts & remains loyal and productive people.
BEE Charter
To develop an Empowerment Charter for Services Sector and a BEE Scorecard for each industry in our sector. Services SETA is also working on becoming an acc BEE rating & Verification Agency with SANAS for benefit of all members.
