Chambers and Scope of Coverage

The structure of the Services SETA consists of Chambers, which cover a broad range of industries within the Services Sector.  Each chamber is responsible for managing skills development within the scope of its own particular sector.
 
 
 
The main functions of the chambers are:
 
To identify organized Employer &
         Employee Bodies.
 
To ensure that standards & qualifications
         are internationally benchmarked and meet
         the industry requirements.
 
To ensure that the industry requirements
         are aligned with the Sector Skills Plan.
 
To recognise Professional Bodies as
         Certification Partners for the awarding
         of Professional Designations
 
To facilitate the process of skills
         development within the Services Sector.
