The Contact Center Chamber has grown significantly over the past six years and this is visible in the qualifications that have been developed as well as the number of learners that we have participating on various Learnerships and Skills Programmes. The Contact Centre participates on Services Seta Governance Structures via a National Board.
The Contact Centre Chamber has entered into an agreement with Business Process Enabling South Africa whereby certain administrative functions of the Chamber has been outsourced to this organization. Coupled with the additional administrative duties, BPeSA is also managing Learnership Bursaries on behalf of the SSETA. The Bursary allocation was awarded to BPeSA and they have in turn allocated buries to Labour and Contact Centre companies that are members of both BPeSA and SSETA. BPeSA followed a consortium approach and companies were requested to tender for the allocations. In terms of the bursary process, BPeSA is in the first phase implementation. Further updates will be provided as the project progresses.
