Description

The Chamber Manager is responsible for providing support in relation to both sectoral and head office support functions that is based on a clear departmental operational plan and sound corporate management practices, including proper financial and human resource management Practices. This role also supports the development of the SSETA SSP, SP, APP, learning material and qualifications. The role further participates in the SSETA WSP (Workplace Skills Plan), PTP (Pivotal Training Plan), ATR (Annual Training Plan), PTR (Pivotal Training Reports).

Duties

The Chamber Manager has the following responsibilities in respect of the Sector and Sub Sectors falling under the Labour and Collective Services Chamber: •Database development and maintenance; •Research and intelligence gathering; •Information dissemination; •Community outreach; •Education; •Securing workplaces; •Stakeholder support; •Representation of the SETA in the sector; and •Reporting.
