Description

The Senior Manager: Risk Management is responsible for leading the development of implementation of risk management strategies, processes and policies with the SSETA. The role involves managing the monitoring of key risks and the management thereof. The incumbent further ensures compliance with accounting policies, standards, principles, all acts and other statutory requirements.

Requirements

A BACHELORS DEGREE, OR EQUIVALENT IN A RELEVANT FIELD, 7 YEARS IN TOTAL, 5 YEARS IN MANAGEMENT AND 3 YEARS IN A RELATED PROFFESSION,  Good understanding of SETA business  Understanding of the PFMA  In-depth knowledge of skills development legislation, policy and frameworks,  In-depth understanding and knowledge of governance and compliance in general.  Ability to lead and manage the enterprise risk function for the organization.  Extensive knowledge of compliance principles, legislation and regulations governing SSETA  Computer literacy  Problem solving and decision making  Negotiation

Duties

 Lead the development and implementation of Risk Management frameworks  Contribute to SSETA strategic and financial management objectives  Lead achievement of compliance, governance and risk management objectives  Achievement and management of departmental operational plans and resources  Management of staff in the department
