SSETA is inviting tenders for the development and deployment of a new management information system and training for the eight SSETA IT staff. The work will require the following:
1.1. Full time developers for a maximum period of nine (9) months. This can be fulfilled by resources working for the full 9 months, or resources working for a shorter period to be determined at SSETA’s discretion.
1.2. SSETA is currently looking for five (5) full time developers (or full time equivalents); however SSETA reserves the right to appoint additional resources should be need arise.
1.3. Resources can be appointed to work full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (20 to 40 per week).
1.4. SSETA may appoint a combination of resources from different service providers at SSETA’s discretion.
1.5. The Developers are to develop and deploy an integrated SETA enterprise management information system.
1.6. The outcome of this system will be to conduct all business transactions of the Services SETA in an integrated manner across the organization and to provide a management information reporting portal for all SETAs and the needs of Department of Higher Education Training (DHET) as well as South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). The system should be portable to other SETAs without additional development costs.
1.7. SSETA will provide all project management, system architecture and lead developer resources, office space, workstations, printers and all facilities needed.
